Since 1956, Camp Maskepetoon has given thousands of campers the opportunity to develop lasting friendships, learn new skills, and get back to nature in a beautiful outdoor environment.

Set on the north shore of Pigeon Lake, Camp Maskepetoon is composed of 10 hand-built long cabins set amongst 250 acres of pristine forest. A central lodge serves as the heart of camp where campers gather to share meals and participate in talent shows, dances and other special event. The campfire is the ideal place to end the day, with the camp coming together for songs, lessons, and laughter.

Our core camp program philosophy is simple and effective, consisting of well-loved and time honored traditional camp experiences that are designed to broaden camper's horizons, challenging them to learn and grow while maintaining a fun and active atmosphere. Archery and Canoeing allow campers to learn new skills that they otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to try and can be developed for years to come. Regular Sports programming allows campers to explore teamwork and strategy in an active way. Our nature education BUGS program lets campers learn outdoor skills, nature education and to appreciate the environment. The reflective Spirits program features self-reflection, personal growth and positive values. Finally, the Crafts program explores different ways to utilize creativity.

And that’s only the start of what camp has to offer. Each week has a special theme designed to bring a splash of imagination and whimsy to the program, which is explored through a variety of theme days and themed dinners. Our campers will also participate in beloved camp activities including campfire, camp-wide games utilizing the whole property, water activities, camp dances, special late night activities like our beloved Mission Impossible game, and a friendly competition between all cabins throughout the week. There is also intentional free time built into each day for campers to slow down and connect with each other and the beautiful camp around them.
