Metro Edmonton Community Choice Awards

Camp Maskepetoon was honoured to be chosen as a favourite summer camp in the 2016 Metro Edmonton Community Choice Awards. We are grateful to all of our campers and alumni who nominated us and are proud to share this recognition along with City of Edmonton Day Camps and University of Alberta Discover-E Science Camps. 

Alberta Emerald Award

Camp Maskepetoon was the proud recipient of an Alberta Emerald Award in 2014. Recognizing our 60 year commitment to providing outdoor experiences for children, the awards committee praised our decision to stay true to our back-to-nature approach. We work hard in our efforts to protect our environment and limit our impact on the land. We also continue to find new ways to share the beauty of nature with all of our campers.

United Church Camping Awards

We are equally proud of our board members and camp alumni who have been awarded United Church Camping Awards. These individuals have been recognized for their outstanding efforts in making camp a truly inclusive place to be.

Accreditations

Camp Maskepetoon is accredited by the Alberta Camping Association (ACA) and the United Church Camping Association (UCCA). This means that camp continues to meet and exceed industry standards in facilities, human resources, programming, meals, and first aid.
